DESIGN-BUILD-OPERATE SHOWCASE- New Lothrop, MI
Like many towns throughout the midwest, New Lothrop, MI was forced to abide by the new arsenic standards set forth by the EPA in 2001. The small town west of Flint, MI turned to Artesian for help.
Artesian responded with a plan to design, build, and operate the town's new required water treatment facility and in turn provide the town with great tasting water at a low cost to its people. Artesian's professionals took control and led the project from concept to completion.
Working side by side with AOP professionals, it didn't take long for this small town to gain a comfort level in the water plant's simple operation and low maintenance. The town now owns and operates its very own water treatment plant.
